Program Updates

CSP Data Quality Enhancements

Please note: Any changes made to Partner Center information will trigger a verification process for data validation, and Microsoft reserves the right to audit partners and request verification at any time without cause. Failure to complete the verification process in 30 days may result in a failed/rejected state and be subject to CSP suspension and offboarding. If suspended, no new orders will be allowed under your MPN ID.

To ensure your CSP enrollment is in good standing, your global admin should regularly check partner center notifications via the action center. If you have any questions, please contact Microsoft support directly. Pax8 will not be able to support due to compliance reasons set by Microsoft.

Microsoft Pricing Updates

This month, Microsoft implemented a 5% price adjustment across all new and renewing annual paid monthly subscriptions. Monthly subscriptions are not impacted, and the current 20% price adjustment remains.

Please note: Renewals at Pax8 lock 48 hours in advance. A change in billing terms to annual must be scheduled beforehand to take effect at the time of renewal. This can be done through the schedule order manager.

At the same time, Teams Phone Standard licenses are now priced at $10 per user, per month; with Power BI Pro licenses at $14 per user, per month; and Power BI Premium licenses at $24 per user, per month. Additionally, annual, paid monthly subscriptions will incur a 5% premium at the time of purchase or renewal on top of the price increase.

Microsoft Product Updates

Microsoft is retiring Power BI Premium and replacing it with Microsoft Fabric. This means there will be no new sales of Power BI Premium. But Power BI Premium product capabilities won’t change, and if your clients are using it, no immediate action is required. You can continue using your existing Power BI Premium capacity until the time of your next renewal, at which time it won’t renew, and those subscriptions must be migrated to Microsoft Fabric.

For anyone unfamiliar, Microsoft Fabric is an AI-powered analytics platform that unifies data and services, including data analytics, data science and data lakes. It’s designed to accelerate innovation and provide a comprehensive analytics solution for organizations.

OneCloud Kickstart

The Microsoft OneCloud Kickstart Program is an initiative that enables Pax8 partners to transact the entire Microsoft stack across Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. It’s designed to help partners maximize their earning potential with each customer add, attract more net-new customers and grow faster.

We started this program to help partners better leverage the Microsoft partner ecosystem, where less than 8% of MSPs transact all Microsoft solutions, but those who do are responsible for more than 60% of Microsoft’s revenue across the globe. We’ve found that partners transacting across Modern Work, Azure and Microsoft 365 Apps for Business, on average, transact 2,500% more in licensing each year than partners transacting one solution alone.

The four pillars of the program are:

  • Partner: Strengthen your Microsoft partnership and grow revenue with hands-on guidance from Pax8.
  • Position: Drive value and differentiate your place in the market with customizable templates and tools.
  • Sell: Reduce risk and churn through the adoption of integrated workloads that make you the trusted advisor.
  • Scale: Improve efficiency with Pax8 services and skill growth, expanding your capabilities to reach new heights.

The program lets you grow your business on your terms with on-demand sessions and hands-on labs. Those who follow the program see on average three times the Microsoft revenue from customer adds, increased Azure consumption, and Power Platform and Microsoft 365 upselling. We’ve also seen that partners transacting Dynamics 365 with other Microsoft solutions have the lowest churn in the channel (less than 1% annually). And partners who transact Business Applications solutions such as CRM and ERP see their clients spend 50% more in additional tech spend for their businesses.

Our new Launchpad for Dynamics 365 program can help you to uncover Dynamics 365 sales opportunities within your existing customer base using Microsoft data.

To further support you in your conversations, we’ve built electronic forms to help you collect your clients’ requirements. Once they fill those out, they’ll go through the discovery process and get a Dynamics demo. And once they decide to purchase, we have teams to help you implement and support the project.

Your next steps for this offer are to book a consultation call with your productivity solution consultant and CAM regarding this offer, upgrade the necessary number of clients to Microsoft 365 Business Premium and then submit your claim.
